Overview

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which High Tide Holistics collects, uses, maintains, and/or discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the www.hightideholistics.com website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by High Tide Holistics. Site users may be subject to different protection standards, and broader standards may therefore apply to some. In order to learn more about the protection criteria, Users may refer to the applicability section.

Section I: How We Collect User Information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our Site, place an order, subscribe to a mailing list, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features, and/or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for (as reasonably appropriate) name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and/or credit card information. Users may however visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information at any time; however, this may prevent them from engaging in certain Site-related activities (e.g. purchasing a product, engaging in our newsletter(s), etc.).

Section II: Information We Collect from Social Networking Sites

If you create an account on our website through a third-party connection or log-in (for example, through Facebook, or by “following” or “liking” High Tide Holistics on a third-party social media site, etc.), that third party may pass certain information about your use of its service to High Tide Holistics, Inc. This information could include the user ID associated with your account, an access token necessary to access that service, any information that you have permitted the third party to share with us, and/or any information you have made public in connection with that service. The data we receive is dependent upon your privacy settings with the social network. We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Your information collected through the Card Pointe service and may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which High tide Holistics or its subsidiaries, affiliates, or service providers maintain facilities. High Tide Holistics may transfer information that we collect about you, including personal information, to affiliated entities, or to other third parties across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction, and you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. or any other country in which www.hightideholistcs.com or its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, or service providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.

We sincerely care about the security of your information and use commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through the Service. However, it should be noted that no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems with 100% certainty. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised, and take other steps in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations. Section VI: Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users’ personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and Users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes, provided that you have given us your permission.

Section VII: The Type of Data Collected and Stored

Mandatory Data: We require the collection of certain personal information (i.e. a User’s name, email address, address, and credit card information) only if the User requires orders to be processed from our site.

Optional Data: Emails and names may be requested from our Users if they wish to place an order, subscribe to the mailing list, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and/or in connection with other activities, services, features, resources, etc., we make available on our Site.

NOTE: Users may visit our Site anonymously. We will only collect personal identification information from Users if they voluntarily submit such information to us.

Section VIII: Opting Out of High Tide Holistics Communications

We retain basic user contact information to communicate with our customers and Users about products, security, updates, and/or information relevant to their purchase history. High Tide Holistics customers may opt-out of communications at any time by unsubscribing in any of our e-mails or by contacting us directly at sales@hightideholistics.com

Section IX: Hosting of High ide Holistics Customer Data

Our customer data is hosted in the Card Pointe services Merchant platform.

Section X: Retention of Customer Data

We maintain all customer data until we mark Users as “inactive” or a customer deletes his or her own account. Users can delete their accounts by unsubscribing or by contacting us directly at sales@hightideholistics.com

When we make changes to this Policy, we will revise the “updated” date at the bottom of this page and/or elsewhere in this site. We encourage Users to frequently check this site for any changes and to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
